Welcome to Crowdversations on Screen!

Sergio López Figueroa, founder and director of Big Bang Lab in collaboration with his friends is presenting the projection of independent films to trigger open debates and conversations around innovation, culture, creativity and social change.  Hosted by Dreamstake at Club Workspace in Clerkenwell Workshops, this is a new format of experiential network event to explore new thinking and sharing ideas and experiences by showing a number of creative projects with the commonplace of social change. This is not an event to sit back in the dark but to move forward to listen and talk in an open and friendly environment, adding new light to emerging issues about past, present and future!

Word from DreamStake: Sergio has been a member of Club Workspace ever since it's opened and it's fascinating to observe what he is working on and the impact it has on communities. We are very proud to showcase his work and hope to include Big Bang Nights as a permanent fixture in DreamStake's event calendar!

CROWDVERSATION

THEME:  CREATIVE COMMUNITIES

This screening and networking event is an opportunity to explore the issues of local communities involvement in the design of their cities by showing Delhi City Symphony In 2009 a group of underprivileged children living in sheltered homes in Delhi participated in the creation of a documentary about the city shooting around their neighbourhoods, the streets and a Heritage site, coming up with their conclusions about social and environmental issues affecting the city. As a result of this participatory creative process they also engaged with their own musical heritage by producing new music for a contemporary digital silent film. The live performance took place on World Heritage Day at one of the central cultural venues in New Delhi.
